RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required in specialty
• 1:6 patient ratio experience required
• Every other weekend requirement
• Floating required within scope
• Must be available to work mandatory 5 shifts for clinical orientation week (36-40 hours first week)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Florida or compact RN license required
• Rapid Response team experience required
• Total joints experience required
• Mixed unit high acuity environment
• Adult and geriatric patient care
• Charting system: Meditech
• Scrub color: Any
• Free parking in unrestricted spaces
• Must complete 4 hours of modules prior to start date
• Holiday requirements: Work 1 eve and 1-2 holidays depending on assignment length
• Strict attendance policy: 3 call outs results in termination
• Schedule changes may be made up to 48 hours in advance
• No RTO during first or last week of assignment
• Must be greater than 30 miles from facility

This acute care hospital features 210 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services with specialized departments including interventional cardiac catheterization lab on-site. The facility operates a mixed unit combining Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and PCU services, offering high acuity patient care. The hospital provides extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
