Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
• On-call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
• Work with procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephogram, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one tech circulates and the other scrubs
• Experience with Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke preferred
• Must have 3s & 4s only for neuro experience on skillset checklist
• Required skills include nephogram and peripherals; preferred skills include biopsies, C-arm, and kyphoplasty
• Call-in policy requires makeup shifts during pay period or extension of contract
• Floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals is 100% required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

This major healthcare facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive interventional radiology services. The department features 4 IR rooms including 2 single plane and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms, supporting advanced vascular interventional and neuro interventional procedures. The facility handles complex cases including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions, maintaining high standards for patient care and advanced medical technology.
