RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Operating Room with 1:1 patient ratios
• 36 hours per week guaranteed hours
• Weekend requirements: 2-3 weekends per month
• On-call required: 24-36 hours per month (day shift call)
• 3 years of experience required
• Must have Level 1 trauma experience and circulating experience
• Required certification: BCLS
• Purple scrubs provided by facility
• Charting system: Cerner
• 8 hours of orientation required
• No floating within scope to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• No locals within 100 miles accepted
• Pending license accepted
• RTO restrictions: Greater than 7 days needs approval
• Facility may call off 3 times throughout 13-week assignment
• New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks
• 6 month break required for travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached one year mark
• Must care for patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
• Work with 16 operating rooms
• Top service lines include trauma, neuro, and orthopedic procedures
• Must have trauma and neuro experience - no exceptions
• Overtime after 48 hours and must be pre-approved by facility
• No RQI certifications accepted
• Free parking provided
