RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Rotating days and nights schedule
• Every other weekend coverage required
• 4 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratios of 1:6 on days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 27 rooms with 34 beds on unit
• May float to telemetry unit as needed
• May float to other sister facilities within 10-mile radius when needed
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Handle post-op joint replacement patients
• Care for post-op weight loss management surgery patients
• Manage post-op general surgery patients
• Work with medical non-monitored patient diagnoses
• Use Cerner charting system
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Valid PA license or compact license required
• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Must complete 15-panel drug screen within 24-48 hours of signing
• Clock in and out using badge system
• Time sheets must be signed by supervisor or manager only
