Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Average daily census of 30 patients
• Call required 1-2 weekdays per week
• Weekend coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend
• 2 years of experience in specialty required
• First time travelers accepted
• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, and Louisiana State License
• Preferred certifications: CCI RCIS
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Facility has 300 beds
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Experience with angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, electrophysiology procedures
• Must maintain sterile technique and assist with various cardiac procedures
• Equipment experience includes PACS, Philips systems, and fluoroscopy
• Orientation held 5 days a week with billable modules
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
• AHA certifications required
• No call-ins policy strictly enforced
