Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• 2 years of nursing experience required (1st time travelers accepted)
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a 16-room telemetry unit
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Must have Epic charting system experience
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed with Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday requirements: work one holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two out of three if three fall during assignment
• Care for patients with CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Use unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Full compliance required to start on time

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
