Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Specialize in maternal fetal medicine ultrasound
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS
• High-risk OB, maternal fetal medicine, and obstetrics experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must have either a compact license or MD license
• Charting system experience required (Cerner)
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Work with patient age groups: adolescents and adults
• Daily census of 20-25 patients
• Work in 4-room facility
• Perform specialized procedures including non-stress testing
• Use external fetal monitoring equipment
• Skills include: GE, 1st-3rd trimester scans, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, multiple pregnancy, nuchal translucency screen, placenta previa, umbilical cord doppler, and various anatomical assessments
• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• Labs and drug screen appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Two supervisor references required
• Manager interviews not guaranteed
