RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s)
• Weekend coverage is required
• Floating to other units is required when needed based on census concerns
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for both days and nights
• Care for adult and geriatric surgical patients on a 32-bed unit
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Active South Carolina RN license and BLS certification required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must be located more than 100 miles from all Prisma facilities (with specific exceptions for night shift positions)
• Work with special equipment including Wound Vacs, PCA pumps, PICC lines, drains, and ostomy equipment
• Handle special procedures including ENT surgeries, plastic surgery procedures, general surgery cases, surgical oncology, and colorectal procedures
• Use Omnicell medication system
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
