Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Work blocked Monday-Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating night call requirements
• Every 3rd weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 1:4 during day shifts
• 40 hours of unit orientation required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required - unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Required certifications: ARRT N, CNMT
• Must have experience with Epic charting system and Pyxis
• Work in adult, clinic, hospital, nuclear cardiology, and pediatrics settings
• Operate Siemens equipment
• Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including gastric emptying, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, bone scans, brain scans, liver/spleen scans, lung scans, renal flow studies, shunt studies, thyroid studies, tumor localization, and SPECT imaging
• Conduct myocardial studies with adenosine infusion and pharmacological stress testing
• Professional skills include drawing venous blood, maintaining isolation precautions/PPE, starting and maintaining IVs, and proper storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
• Preferred qualifications include previous charge experience and trauma level I or II experience
• Must be comfortable floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals based on census and skill sets
• Fatigue policy limits work to no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
