RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 2 years of operating room experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Float required between different surgical departments
• On-call required - 3 weeknights and 2 weekends in 6 weeks
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• CNOR certification preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work with 14 operating rooms serving a daily census of 38-47 patients
• Scrub and circulate for various surgical specialties including general surgery, ENT, robotic procedures, urology, thoracic, vascular, gynecology, plastics, neurology, orthopedics, dental, and podiatry
• Operate specialized equipment including DaVinci Xi and Ion Robot systems
• Handle procedures such as laparoscopic surgeries, joint replacements, cardiac procedures, and robotic-assisted surgeries
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
