RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Neuro ICU with 2:1 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends
• Required to work 3-4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights)
• Float as needed per census to other ICUs (maintain 2:1 ratio) or telemetry units (3:1 ratio)
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Strong neuro experience and previous travel experience required
• 2+ years of recent ICU experience required
• Must be more than 75 miles from facility to qualify as traveler
• Required certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• License in hand or compact required at submission
• Care for adult patients with acute and subacute neurological conditions
• Manage ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, IV drips, and isolation precautions
• Experience required with airway management, dysrhythmia management and interpretation
• Must have experience with continuous IV sedation, vasopressor titration, and ABG interpretation
• Experience needed with post-craniotomy, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery patients
• Handle multisystem organ dysfunction/failure cases
• Work with specialized neuro equipment including EVDs, lumbar drains, CRRT, Arctic Sun

The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized interpretation services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
