RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Position primarily supports Med Surg with PCU duties
• Must be agreeable to floating between Med Surg and PCU units
• Required to work weekends as needed, which may include most weekends during contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated but set schedules cannot be approved
• Patient ratios: 5:1 during days, 6:1 during nights
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, travel experience strongly preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have nursing license in-hand before start date
• Must complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start
• Modules completed during orientation (average 2-3 hours, non-billable if completed in first 16 hours)
• Skills include cardiac telemetry, PCU/stepdown care, IV management, wound care, chest tube management, and various specialized procedures
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
