RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with mid/night schedule options: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• SANE certification required in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, CPI, PALS, SANE
• Preferred certifications: NIH, TNCC, ENPC
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Must float between two ER locations based on volume and census
• May be required to float or take call at the Center of Hope (20 minutes from main ER)
• Weekend coverage required with flexible number of weekend shifts per contract
• Must work at least one holiday
• Maximum RTO of 7 days, with 1 request allowed
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 50 patients with 50 visits per day
• Work in 13-room, 17-bed emergency department
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of signing
• Use Meditech Expanse charting system
• Free parking provided

Facility:

This short-term acute care hospital features 104 staffed beds and operates a comprehensive emergency department with two locations. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. The emergency department is equipped with specialized equipment including rapid transfuser and pacing capabilities, and maintains STEMI and stroke certification to provide advanced cardiac and neurological emergency care.
