RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour day shifts (48 hours per week)
• Patient ratio 1:7 with team nursing support from PCC, LPN, and other staff
• On-call availability as needed
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Medical Surgical & Med Surg Telemetry required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with general medical surgical diagnoses
• Unit has 48 beds with daily census of 46 patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required skills: Telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if they fall during assignment
• May float between like units and campuses within 20 miles
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
• Cerner experience preferred
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (strict local rule)
• Active RN license required (compact or state license)
• ADN acceptable for this position
