RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule with holiday rotation required
• Must commit to 26-week assignment (no 13-week option available)
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
• Required to work Charge RN shifts as needed
• Must float as needed across all facilities
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• 2 years of nursing experience required with previous charge experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Patient population primarily Med/Surg adults and geriatrics
• Skills include: IV insulin protocols, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care, PICC line management, surgical drains, BiPAP/CPAP management, wound care/wound vac, blood product administration, peripheral line care, starting IVs, heparin, insulin, PCA, nasal cannula, isolation precautions
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Must complete compliance by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
• Non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours during orientation
