RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU Neuro

Job Details:

• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends
• Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Complete 40 hours of orientation
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Strong Neuro ICU experience required with EVDs/lumbar drains and SAH patients
• Must have at least one year of Epic EMR experience
• NIHSS certification required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have experience with ICU patients with neuro injuries such as stroke and neurosurgery post-op
• Competent with EVD maintenance required
• Must have large hospital experience (minimum 300+ beds)
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to other units and campuses as requested
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Care for adults and geriatric patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, post-op neurosurgery and neurovascular intervention
• Work with 13 daily census in 16-bed unit
• Must be over 100 miles from all facilities or meet specific distance exceptions
