RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Patient ratios vary from 1:1, 1:2, to 1:3 based on ICU and stepdown patient mix
• Float within facility to meet needs as required
• 2 years of PICU experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
• SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
• Holiday requirement if contract falls during holiday periods
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 12-hour orientation required
• Must complete 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses
• Work with complex therapies including ECMO, CRRT, dialysis, and ventilatory support
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

This is a Level I Trauma Center and teaching facility with Magnet Hospital designation, featuring 820 total staffed beds. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is a 28-bed unit providing intensive and intermediate care to children from across the state. The facility serves as a quaternary referral center offering comprehensive pediatric services including cardiac, respiratory, neurology, transplant, and trauma care. The unit provides advanced therapies and has interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
