RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics in a 17-bed ICU/CSICU
• Weekend coverage required with 12 weekend shifts per contract
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with previous charge experience required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and Shared Governance model
• Care for cardiovascular patients including those undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting, thoracotomy, carotid stenting, and heart valve procedures
• Work with specialized equipment including IABP, ECMO, and Impella Heart Pump
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Manage patients requiring advanced therapies and interventional procedures
• ADN required, BSN preferred
