RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, with interventional radiology experience mandatory
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Must be skilled in scrubbing, circulating, telemetry, and providing STEMI call coverage
• Call requirement: Every 3rd week with weekday call from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM and weekend call from Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 7:30 AM
• 30-minute callback time for STEMIs required
• Weekly rotation providing procedure coverage for interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular, and EP device implant procedures
• 85%/15% split with interventional radiology being 85% of procedures
• Work with specialized equipment including MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, Angio Jet, and various ablation systems
• Epic charting system experience required
• 16-hour orientation provided
• Scrubs provided
• No floating requirements
• Must be comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients
• Candidate must enter the lab within 48 hours after signing

The department consists of three teams with specialized staff members who rotate weekly to provide coverage for all services, ensuring high-quality patient care across multiple specialties including STEMI response and complex interventional procedures.
