Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Call requirement: 90-120 hours of call in a 6 week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel experience required (first time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience)
• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA
• Must provide 2-3 days of interview availability when submitting
• Must work with patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Specialized skills required in vascular and thoracic surgery cases including: receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, and Aortic Dissection
• AM shift focuses on peripheral vascular cases and requires more vascular than cardiovascular experience
• PM shift focuses on cardiovascular cases and does not require vascular experience but heart and lung transplant experience is preferred
• Floating is required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
