RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to PCU unit as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required - first-timers not accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Med/Surg experience required
• PCU experience strongly preferred for unit flexibility
• Telemetry experience preferred with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date (approximately 4 hours)
• Attendance at staff meetings required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• 28 hours of orientation
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with variety of medical-surgical diagnoses
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required June through November

This short-term acute care hospital features 97 staffed beds with a daily census of 36 patients. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The hospital maintains modern technology with Epic charting systems and provides free parking for staff.
