RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to PCU when needed
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience mandatory
• Med/Surg experience required with PCU experience strongly preferred
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Preferred experience in telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date (approximately 4 hours)
• Attendance at staff meetings required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must be aware of hurricane season emergency response team assignments from June through November

This short-term acute care hospital features 97 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility operates with modern technology including Epic charting systems and offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services. The hospital maintains a daily census of approximately 36 patients and focuses on treating a variety of medical-surgical patients including adults and geriatrics.
