RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required - Unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Daily census of 25 surgical cases with 25 visits per day
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Float within facility/scope of practice including Main OR and Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed
• Call requirements: 12-15 days in a 6 week schedule, including minimum of 2 weekends
• Weekend coverage included in call requirements only
• Holiday policy: Expected to work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• 24 orientation hours with modules completed during orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR (preferred), TNCC (preferred)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Skills include: Administration of blood & blood products, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cell saver, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR procedures, Fire Safety, General OR, Infection control, Laser Safety, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Universal Protocol procedures
• Work in 8-room cardiovascular operating suite
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
