RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week schedule
• Weekdays with some weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Float to ER, ICU, and LDRP as needed
• Provide care for medical surgical, orthopedic, and general surgery patients
• Care for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 12 patients across 20 rooms and 23 beds
• Required certification: BCLS
• ACLS preferred for small hospital setting
• Kansas state license or compact license required
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First time travelers and locals accepted
• Skills required: IV starts, telemetry, charge experience preferred
• Experience with total hips and knees procedures a plus
• Rural health experience preferred
• TruBridge (formerly CPSI) EMR experience preferred, willing to train
• Must be able to jump in quickly and adapt to hospital needs
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• 1 reference required for submission
• Average 1 hour of non-billable modules completed pre-start

The facility features 23 beds across 20 rooms and maintains a daily census of approximately 12 patients. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
