Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 shift schedule during day hours
• Must scrub and circulate in cardiovascular operating room
• On-call requirements vary based on staffing levels:
  - Vascular: 7-10 days on call including weekends (Friday-Sunday)
  - Hearts: 10-15 days on call with 2 weekends
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NBSTSA certification
• NCCT certification accepted if employed as surgical tech in South Carolina prior to January 1, 2008 or completed military training
• Must have successful completion of Surgical Technology program or U.S. Armed Forces surgical technologist training
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 5 operating rooms with 6 beds available
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• 30 hours of orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Call requirements will be discussed during interview
• Must be more than 50 miles from facility if local candidate
