Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Varied 8-hour shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Weekend coverage supported by call rotation among 6-8 staff members
• On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and weekends with primary and backup call techs
• Must have neuro interventional experience including stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, aneurysm stenting, AVM embolization, and carotid stenting
• Perform line access procedures such as port placements, PICC placement, and dialysis catheter placement
• Handle peripheral and body angiography procedures
• Work with patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle 15-20 cases per day in a 3-room department
• Work in a Level 1 Trauma center and Comprehensive Stroke Center environment
• Required certifications: ARRT VI, ARRT R, BLS, SC Radiography State License
• Skills required: Interventional Radiology, PACS, NICU, Peds, Trauma, ER experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours

The department is equipped with advanced Siemens IR rooms and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.
