RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend (may change based on need)
• Floating required to like units based on skill set
• Patient ratio experience of 6:1
• Daily census of 15-20 patients in a 30-bed unit
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must have at least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must have active Tennessee RN license or multistate license
• Minimum 1 year of orthopedics specialty experience required
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience required - does not accept first-time travelers
• Use Omnicell medication system
• Skills include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care, peripheral line care, PICC line management, telemetry monitoring, and total joint replacement care
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract

The organization utilizes EPIC EMR systems and Omnicell medication management, maintaining high standards for patient care and safety protocols.
