RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage required, likely every other weekend
• Patient ratios: 5:1 during days and weekends, 6:1 during nights
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Expected to work 1 of 2 major holidays and surrounding days (July 4th and Memorial Day)
• Will float to all medical surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation unit
• May care for COVID patients
• 8-hour orientation required
• Pre-start modules must be completed (5-6 hours, billable)
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Work with patient diagnoses including CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedic cases, COPD, and sepsis
• Care for adults and geriatric patients with daily census of 25-30 patients
• No call requirements
• Manager interview required

The unit offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
