RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work in mixed unit covering Med Surg, Med Surg Tele and PCU
• Maintain 1:6 patient ratio across all shifts including days, nights, and weekends
• Required to work every other weekend
• Must be available for mandatory 5 shifts during clinical orientation week (36-40 hours first week)
• Floating required within scope of practice
• 2 years of experience required with no local candidates accepted (must be greater than 30 miles from facility)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Must have Rapid Response team experience and total joints experience
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle high acuity mixed unit cases
• Experience required with cardiac drips (no titration), dysrhythmias, CVA, and chest tubes
• Must complete 4 hours of pre-start modules (non-billable)
• Holiday requirements: work 1 Eve and 1-2 holidays depending on assignment length
• Strict attendance policy: 3 call outs results in termination
• Schedule changes may occur with 48 hours notice
• No RTO allowed during first or last week of assignment
• Any scrub color acceptable
• Charting system: Meditech
