RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• On-call requirement includes nights, weekends, and holidays (typically 1 night per week)
• 2-3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• 1:1 patient ratio maintained throughout shifts
• Must have 3 years of main hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Meditech charting system required
• Community hospital experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Float to like acuities or less when needed
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Responsible for immediate patient assessment upon admission to OR addressing biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and educational factors
• Develop individualized nursing care plans for patients in intraoperative setting
• Work with diverse surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic, and robotic surgeries
• Handle various surgical equipment including Da Vinci robotic systems, laser equipment, and cell saver technology
• Care for patients of all age groups from infants to geriatrics
• Work in 4-room operating suite with interdisciplinary support team
