RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• On-call requirement includes nights, weekends, and holidays (typically 1 night per week)
• 2-3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• 1:1 staffing ratio
• Float to like acuities or less if needed
• 3 years main hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have community hospital experience
• Experience with Meditech charting system required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius (no locals)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Responsible for assessing patients upon admission to OR including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge planning factors
• Develop individualized plans of nursing care for patients in the intraoperative setting
• Experience required with various surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedic procedures, gynecological surgeries, and robotic surgeries
• Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
