RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 patients
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must float to all Cone Health campuses as needed for patient care
• Care for general surgical patients with pre-op and post-op needs
• Handle medical overflow patients including BiPAP and drips (excluding true cardiac)
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Unit has 29 beds with daily census of 27 patients
• CNA support and unit secretary available
• Beds are capped to ensure RNs do not exceed 6 patients
• 50-mile local radius restriction applies
