RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 patients maximum
• Must float to all Cone campuses as needed for patient care
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required - first time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with general surgical conditions, pre-op and post-op needs
• Handle medical overflow patients including BiPAP and drips (excluding true cardiac patients)
• 24-hour orientation period with additional non-billable modules (2-4 hours average)
• Work with interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• 29-bed unit with daily census of 27 patients
• CNA support and unit secretary assistance provided
