RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must float to all Cone Health campuses as needed for patient care
• Care for primarily medical surgical patients with some telemetry capabilities
• Handle general surgical patients with pre-op and post-op care needs
• Manage medical overflow patients excluding true cardiac patients with BiPap and drips
• Work with CNA support and unit secretary
• Facility caps beds to ensure RNs do not exceed 6 patients
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Local radius restriction of 50 miles - no local candidates accepted
