RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on general medical/surgical telemetry unit with focus on cardiac care
• Care for structural heart patients and post-cardiac procedure patients
• Rotating schedule is 50/50 with typically one week of days and one week of nights per pay period
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio experience of 6:1 required
• Weekend coverage required
• Float within hospital when needed
• May float to other sister facilities within 10-mile radius as needed
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult patients with daily census of 17 patients
• Unit has 15 rooms and 20 beds
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have 1 year of nursing experience
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Valid PA license or compact license required
• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Must complete 15-panel drug screen within 24-48 hours of signing
• All travelers must be cleared by Wednesday before start date
• Clock in/out using badge with supervisor or manager sign-off on timesheets
