RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work on general med/surg telemetry unit with focus on cardiac patients
• Care for structural heart patients and cardiac catheterization patients
• Rotating schedule 50/50 days and nights with no call required
• Typically work one week of days and one week of nights per pay period
• No shift switching within the same week if preferred
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio experience of 6:1
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult patients with daily census of 17 on a 20-bed unit
• Float within hospital when needed
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have 1 year of nursing experience
• Charting system experience required using Cerner
• Valid PA license or compact license required
• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Must complete drug screen and labs within 24-48 hours of signing
• All time sheets must be signed off by supervisor or manager only
• Extensive skills required including cardiac telemetry, managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, post-cardiac procedures, and advanced cardiac care
