RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:2 with occasional 1:3 assignments
• 10-bed ICU unit with daily census of 6 patients
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call required at least 2 shifts per 6 weeks
• May float to other units within the Midlands Division
• 1 year of ICU experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 2-3 patients required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certification: CCRN
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with medical, surgical, and cardiac diagnoses
• Skills include ventilator management, central line care, arterial line management, blood product administration, and management of critically ill patients
• Emergency response team assignment possible during hurricane season (June through November)
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
