Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12 schedule)
• Every other 3rd weekend required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• CPI certification preferred
• Must have either a compact license or an MD license
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 30-bed PCU unit with 28 daily census
• Skills required include MS/Tele, telemetry, cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, high flow nasal cannula, isolation precautions/PPE, and wound care
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract
• Two supervisor references required

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
