RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• General medical/surgical telemetry unit with focus on cardiac care
• Unit receives structural heart patients
• Option for straight nights or rotating schedule (50/50 split)
• Rotating schedule typically consists of one week days and one week nights per pay period
• No call requirements
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio experience of 6:1
• Daily census of 17 patients with 20 beds available
• 12 hours orientation provided
• Must float within hospital when needed and may be asked to float to sister facilities within 10-mile radius
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have experience with Cerner charting system
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Valid PA License or Compact License required
• Extensive skills required including cardiac telemetry, chest tubes, central line care, cardiac drips management, post-cardiac procedures, TAVR, and wound care
• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Must complete drug screening within 24-48 hours of signing
• All travelers must clock in/out using badge with supervisor sign-off on timesheets
