Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts
• CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) technician position
• Call requirements will be discussed during interview
• 30 hours of orientation required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must have 2+ years of experience
• 1+ year of recent unit experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required (NCCT accepted if employed as ST in South Carolina prior to January 1, 2008 or completed military training program)
• Successful completion of Surgical Technology program or military training required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Charting system experience preferred
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 5 operating rooms with 6 beds available
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams and radiology
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must be located more than 50 miles from facility (locals accepted if over 50 miles)
• Floating to other units may be required based on census needs
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours
• Modules are billable up to 16 hours

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
