RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Work every 3rd weekend
• Expected to work 1 of 2 upcoming holidays and surrounding days
• Floating required as needed to Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU)
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Maximum 7 days request time off (RTO)
• No on-call requirements
• 12 hours of orientation required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Epic charting experience heavily preferred
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 260 visits per day
• Work in tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
• Manager interview required
• Clean RN license required with no license hits accepted

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 74-bed Emergency Department within a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Accredited Center of Excellence. The emergency department features a 3-bed trauma bay and secure unit for behavioral health patients. The facility also includes a 22-bed Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU) expansion with full telemetry capability and negative pressure rooms. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
