Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities include approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI (Oregon state license)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Ideal candidates must be experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience
• Scrub experience required as 1st assistant to operator
• Perform complex cardiac interventions utilizing advanced equipment
• Handle cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Work with equipment including OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug coated balloons, CTO equipment
• Assist with Impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, manifold procedures
• Perform balloon/stent prep and deployment, pericardiocentesis
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must be willing to float within site and across the system as requested
• Complete any assigned education within one week of assignment
• Subject to low census mandatory cancellation with 1.5 hours notice

Facility:

This acute care hospital is a 554-bed teaching facility and Level I Trauma center that features a brand new catheterization laboratory with 7 rooms equipped with state-of-the-art Philips Azurion systems. The facility offers western-facing windows with scenic views, dedicated private call rooms with showers for Cath Lab staff, and dedicated EVS/turnover staff available 7 days per week including overnight coverage. The hospital utilizes Epic charting system and provides free parking for staff.
