RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Day shift patient ratio: 1:4, Night shift patient ratio: 1:5, Weekend ratio: 1:4-5
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Float required as needed
• Must be able to start ASAP
• Cannot have blocked schedule
• 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and CPI
• Must be willing to cover pediatric patients as needed (mixed adult-pediatric unit)
• Required to work with all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Feeding tube care and management, IV therapy/phlebotomy experience preferred
• Must have Oklahoma license or compact state license
• Scrub color requirement: blue for nursing staff
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• 30 hours of orientation provided
• Care for patients with various diagnoses including CHF, pneumonia, stroke, orthopedic conditions, and post-delivery care

This 110-bed short-term acute care facility is a voluntary non-profit hospital that serves as a Level III Trauma center. The healthcare organization was formed over 45 years ago from the merger of three area hospitals and has grown into a comprehensive system consisting of two hospitals and 20 provider clinics. The facility offers various specialty practices including cancer-oncology, wound care, and cardiac services, and is recognized for high performance in adult medical procedures and conditions.
