RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Pennsylvania or compact nursing license required
• 2 years of experience required with general OR work setting experience
• Level I Trauma and Ambulatory OR experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must have scrub and circulate experience
• On call required
• No floating between units
• No weekend requirement
• No preferred scrub color
• Must have 1 year Level I Trauma experience (hard stop requirement)
• Must be able to scrub various surgical procedures
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with interdisciplinary support teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• PA fingerprints and childline clearances required
• RTO (request time off) must be submitted at time of application
