RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Observation Unit

Job Details:

• Work in the 2 East Clinical Decision Unit providing telemetry and progressive care
• 26-week contract assignment (non-negotiable)
• Work 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts
• 18 months telemetry/acute care experience required; 2 years preferred
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Strong vasoactive drip experience mandatory
• Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20-mile radius (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Complete time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours (non-billable)
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management, and isolation precautions
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• First-time travelers accepted
• Locals accepted at same rate
