RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float to like acuities or less as needed based on census
• May take IMCU patients if needed based on census
• Must be proficient with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (can be completed prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Experience with heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, titration of insulin drips required
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• Work on 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit
• Care for adult patients with cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedic conditions
• Team includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs/USs, and unit secretaries
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by manager
