RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week with facility allowed to call off 6 times throughout 13-week assignment
• ICU patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, MS/Tele ratios: 1:4 or 1:5
• Must be open to floating between ICU and MS/Tele units based on facility needs
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• 24 hours of orientation
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must have neuro and trauma experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license required
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred)
• Standard med surg/tele equipment with Liko lifts in almost all patient rooms
• Must be comfortable taking all types of critically ill patients
• Looking for well-rounded travelers with ICU/PCU experience or strong MS/tele experience
• Must be flexible team player willing to float as needed
• Care for adults and geriatrics with daily census of 6-8 patients in 11-room, 13-bed unit

This short-term acute care facility is a 87-bed teaching hospital with Level IV trauma designation and Magnet recognition. The facility provides comprehensive healthcare services with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
