RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 34-bed medical surgical telemetry unit with 27 rooms
• Patient ratios of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Provide care for post-operative joint replacement, weight loss management surgery, and general surgery patients
• Handle medical non-monitored patient diagnoses
• Weekend coverage required with 4 weekend shifts per contract
• May be required to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications
• Pennsylvania license required at time of submission
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Charting system experience with Cerner required
• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Must complete 15-panel drug screen within 24-48 hours of signing
• Clock in and out using badge with supervisor sign-off required for timesheets
