RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12's or 40 hours for 8/10's
• 2 weekends per month required
• At least 2 years of emergency room experience required (18 months minimum, 2 years preferred)
• Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience at level 3 or 4 required
• White scrub color required
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Time-sensitive modules must be completed pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• Skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line care, gunshot wounds, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia management, and traumatic amputation
• All time off requests must be submitted at time of application
• No on-call requirements
• First-time travelers accepted
• 2 references from direct supervisor/manager required
