RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Part-time position with every other weekend requirement
• Must have willingness to float to other campus ICU units (Bucyrus & Galion) if census drops to maintain hours
• Travel experience required - no first time travelers
• Minimum 2 years of recent/consecutive ICU experience in hospital/acute care setting required
• Must make up all missed shifts and find coverage if scheduled to work during requested time off
• If placed on-call, must return to facility within 1 hour when called
• Time off requests limited to no more than 7 days, no major holidays accepted
• Typical staffing ratios are 3:1
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Knowledge of medication scanning required
• Epic experience preferred
• Valid state license required - pending licenses not accepted
• Skills include management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, suctioning, and isolation precautions
• Up to 8 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start through HealthStream
• Must complete Avita Traveler Expectations Document during offer stage
• Smoke-free facility and campus
